Training Academy

Our PDR training programme package includes hands-on training, with an emphasis on one-on-one interaction. PDR Certification, PDR Tools, Deluxe Accessory Kits and state-of-the-art LED Lighting. Successful completion of PDR training and practical exam will enable the student to access clients from their area.

Dentmaster Academy is the 1st PDR training facility in Norway dedicated to the student and their success. For three decades we have been working in the PDR industry around the world, and we are delighted to now bring this experience back to the classroom. We will empower each student with the skills, knowledge and technical back-up required for them to succeed in this exciting business. Graduates from our academy will leave feeling confident and secure knowing that they will be part of a new team of technicians based in Norway, and working in their local area.

Paintless Dent Removal is the art of removing minor dents, door dings and hail damage on motor vehicles without the use of fillers or paint. This is a process by which a dent is worked out from the underside of the panel by trained professional using specialised tools

These trained professionals are regarded as “dent techs”. The results are spectacular and best of all you have a blemish free vehicle, which has been restored to its original factory finish.

The process is not revolutionary, but dates back many years when dingmen first practiced this trade on motor vehicles on assembly lines. These skilled Craftsmen/Tradesmen would remove dings/dents and minor body imperfections on new motor vehicles as they came off the production lines, as it was common for a ding or dent to appear during construction.

It clicks with some students quicker than others. Some students come to a PDR school with many years of experience in the paint and body repair business, are highly skilled and already understand what PDR is all about. There is only a slight advantage to this type of student. We find that training a student with a clean slate can often be an easier task. Our small class sizes ensure each student gets the times they need to learn the basic fundamentals of PDR. There will be a maximum of 2 students per class.
Training course duration..

We do not offer 1 week training courses. PDR is a difficult craft to master, and there would be no benefit to student or trainer. We offer a minimum of 2 weeks beginner course, which lasts roughly 80 hours.

Not every student has the ability to reach the goal of dent removal in the 2 weeks either.

We offer extended training, to ensure that each student is comfortable with the level of information and training, so they can continue to practice for themselves and return to our workshop anytime for ongoing practice and learning until confident with even the most difficult dents. We encourage each student to return to the workshop/training environment as often as possible after the 2 weeks initial training is completed. Constant mentoring is available in the workshop and open to all students who have completed Level 1.
